What are my Tax Help options in the Gorge?

Gorge Tax Aide (District 16) has provided additional information for FVRL patrons located in the Gorge:

Since the Gorge AARP Tax Aide program has limited capacity on how many people they will be able to work with, please consider alternative options before requesting an appointment for AARP preparation, such as those listed on the main FVRL Tax Help webpage.

The following video was prepared by the Gorge Tax Aide Coordinator to show you the steps for completing one of the online filing options available: Online Tax (OLT) program. Note that the video's target audience is those who reside in the Gorge on both sides of the Columbia River, so some parts may not apply to Washington residents.

If you can use one of the online filing options, local certified tax preparers are available to help you remotely if you are filing online and have questions or need additional information. Please fill out the following survey, and Gorge Tax Aide volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible: Self-Preparation with Remote Help.

If you are only interested in working with a Gorge Tax Aide certified tax preparer to file your return, please submit the following form: Tax Aide Interest Form 2021.
