What type of services do you have for vision- or hearing-impaired people?

All of our public internet computers have this software:

  • JAWS: a screen reader (you'll need to use headphones)
  • ZoomText: a screen magnifier with high-contrast and color settings
  • Fusion: a combination of JAWS and ZoomText functions

In addition, we offer adaptive technology such as screen readers, magnification, adjustable table height, modified keyboards, or opaque magnifiers at Cascade Park, Battle Ground, and Vancouver Community Libraries.

The Cascade Park and Vancouver Community Libraries each have a video phone station. You'll need to have an FVRL library card to use it.

You can learn more our services on our Accessibility webpage.
