I just got a new library card number. Does that affect my eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMedia?

When you get a replacement card (or you upgrade from an eCard to an Everything Card), your eBook, eAudiobook, and eMedia accounts may also need to be updated. Here's how:

OverDrive: Staff need to update your account with behind-the-scenes magic. Please ask at a branch or contact us online.  If you use the Libby app, there is also one additional step to do--unlink your old card and sign in with your new one.

RBdigital: Staff need to update your account with behind-the-scenes magic. Please ask at a branch or contact us online.

Kanopy: Log in to your account in a browser window, choose "My Memberships" from the menu under your account name (upper right of the screen), click the green rectangle labeled "Active" to the right of Fort Vancouver Regional Library, edit the card number (and PIN if that changed) and click "Save".

Hoopla: In a browser window, sign in to your account, click Settings (upper right), choose Library Settings, edit the card number (and PIN if that changed), and click "SAVE". OR, in the app, tap My Hoopla, tap the settings gear (upper right), edit the card number (and PIN if that changed), and tap "Save Library Settings".
