I have something on hold, but I don't need it any more. How do I cancel my hold?

In our catalog:

If you no longer need an item you have placed on hold through our catalog, simply sign in to your library account and follow these instructions to cancel the hold.

Via Interlibrary Loan:

If you no longer need an item you have requested through our Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) system, canceling the request depends on where it is in the process.  Start by signing in to your ILLiad account and finding the request you'd like to cancel.  Click on the request to see the status, and if a "Cancel" button appears on that screen.  If so, click it, and you're done.  If not, please email your name, card number, and the title/author of the item you wish to cancel to illiad@fvrl.org so that staff can cancel it for you.
